Good: 35x optical zoom, relatively cheap, easy to use

Bad: Poor image quality, limited manual controls The Final Word With only a 0.8 megapixel CCD sensor, the MD120 isnt a camera for those who want high quality images. However, its ease-of-use and relatively low price should appeal to beginners.

Good: Large, fold-out 6.9 cm LCD screen. Microphone input.

Bad: Cannot shoot stills. Supplied battery gives limited shooting time. Bottom tape loading.

Bottomline: Most people will be delighted with the MD120s performance. Only the experienced video expert will quibble at the camcorders low light performance. For the price, it will put video into many hands.
