Bad:  Loud fan, difficult to quite or replace, Incapable of rendering H264, VC1, and x264 encoded HD video, Poor performance, High price
Bottomline:  In Artigo, VIA is trying to offer basic functionality in a very tiny, power efficient package. For the most part this goal was achieved. The 1GHz C7 processor, slow by modern standards, gets simple tasks done, but high definition video playback and an...

Good:  Smallest desktop PC weve seen, by a long shot; easy to build; quiet operation
Bad:  Accepts only SO-DIMM DDR2 RAM; RAM limited to 1GB; no Vista support; only minimally customizable; no optical drive; included dongles cant be used without modifying the case
Bottomline:  Employing technology designed for embedded systems, the Artigo Pico-ITX PC Builder Kit lets you assemble a computer tiny enough to fit in a conventional PCs drive bay. Customizability and performance are lacking, but small is what this PC is all about...

Bottomline:  They Have A Fight, Triangle Wins So. What exactly is the problem? The absolute root cause of the problem is VIAs C7 processor. Although VIAs press release and website target Pico-ITX at "the ultra compact embedded system platforms" it has also tried ...
