Abstract: Video Review: The SilverStone FT01 Case is a very well crafted mid-tower case. There's two large 180mm fans and one 120mm fan which provide positive air pressure. The use of dust filter along with this positive air pressure eliminates dust and provides excellent cooling. There are five 5.25" drive bays and seven hard drives can be installed. Installation for these drives is a tool-less operation. It also comes with easy open side panels, top I/O ports and much more. Watch the video to find out more...
Extremely sturdy, Good ventilation, Build quality, Quiet fans
The side panels could be a bit thicker, Lacks proper cable management, No hole for the CPU cooler installation
Overall then, the Fortress is a really impressive case. When it comes to the outlooks, it nicely follows the well proven lines of the TJ07. I cant imagine anyone not liking the thick aluminum outer shell with its lines. Surely it may look plain if yo...
SilverStone has taken the idea of a "clean room" such as used in the manufacture of computer chips to the case level first with the Temjin TJ07 and now with the Fortress FT01. The case kept the computer running cool, with positive air pressure driving ...

How much Silverstones touted uni-body construction and positive pressure cooling affected the cases performance is difficult to assess. Regardless, the Fortress is substantially better than their last uni-body effort. Dampened panels, soft(er) mount...
Overall, this case was a joy to work with, and one of the best-looking cases I’ve worked with to date. The brushed aluminum looks nice, without the fingerprint issues that a smooth-polished finish would have. The dampening foam quiets a lot of the r...
Abstract: Back in 2006, SilverStone Technology Co. released the world’s first uni-body chassis with their award winning Temjin TJ07. The TJ-07 was known for unique look which was accomplished by using one single piece of aluminum bent into a U-shape that elimin...
The included fans dont light up, There wasnt a second GTX280 included
When I first saw the picture on the box of this chassis, I thought to myself, "Great, another Antec 900 look-a-like." This assumption couldnt have been further from the truth. In fact, the Silverstone FT01B-W is much more than that, and has many fea...
As I stated at the foreword of the review that a PC case is a personal item, but there is one thing that we all have in common and that is we want quite cooling. I was ready for a more noise friendly PC on my desktop and I was rather pleased on how wel...
Cleansleekelegant styling!, Excellent build quality and beautiful anodized finish (black or silver), All aluminum, premium grade, midtower enclosure, Positive air pressure design optimizes cooling performance and keeps dust out, Two 180mm and one 120mm
Space a little tight for cable routing/management when fully populated, Does not support Extended ATX motherboards, No ESATA port
The SilverStone Fortress FT01 is a beautiful mid-tower enclosure. The all aluminum build quality is excellent resulting in a light weight, yet sturdy case. The FT01 comes with three high quality case fans that produce positive air pressure and deliv...
