  • Black interior, Plenty of optional cooling possibilities
  • No cable management, Dust filters very hard to remove, Just a single fan as standard
  • Overall then the Silverstone Precision PS05 is exactly what it says in the description - a simple, inexpensive case for people who just need a basic case. It does come with features such as tool-free installation and dust-filters, but as we've seen be...

  • Abstract:  In the past few weeks here at APH Networks, there has been quite a few articles on SilverStone products. Many users who have followed along would have noticed we had gone through two separate articles on SilverStone products alone over the past month o...

  • SilverStone's PS05B chassis is a budget mid-tower with a lot of features not seen in most low-price cases. With a blacked-out interior, tool-free features and a few cable management aids, the case is quite well appointed for the price. It also has a ...

  • Abstract:  With most SilverStone cases we review having a retail price of $200~300 USD and even their micro-ATX enclosures often going for above $100 USD, we were not sure what to expect when receiving a $50 USD mid-tower from this high-end manufacturer. While t...

  • When enclosures include a single cooling fan, we expect the CPU and VGA coolers to rev up due to the low amount of cool air being pushed-pulled through the chassis. We also expect much higher temperatures which is not such a good thing for the life o...

  • Abstract:  To many people the case is just as important as the other components of a computer as the expansion capabilities, the size of the case, the cooling and therefore the maximum number of fans and other factors are determined by the selection of a case. T...

  • The SilverStone SST-PS05B has aesthetics that are very appealing; the black-on-black styling cues gives it that rich look and feel, but in a sophisticated and contemporary look. This is often a hallmark of SilverStone cases, regardless of the price bra...

  • Silverstone set out to provide a case that brings a lot of value for your buck and I think they are mostly on target with the PS05. With tool less features for PCI expansion cards, hard drives and drive bays the PS05 won’t have you reaching for a scre...
