I have been thoroughly impressed with the Belkin F1DD104L SOHO KVM Switch and would gladly have paid the same for it that I did for the entirety of the Gefen unit (about $800) - just dont tell Belkin that because you can currently find this unit sell...

Easy installation; automatic computer detection; handles audio switching too; works with PCs, Macs and Linux,
Bigger than it should be; cables not flexible enough,
A trouble-free way of working with multiple computers, though a bit big given that it's supposed to save space ...
