Abstract: It is fairly apparent that each machine has been built for a specific user base, and that they don’t really collide with one another in anything other than high portability. The first conclusion that I would draw from analyzing the four netb...
Abstract: Although the 901 scored low marks for its cramped and fiddly keyboard, it just about excelled in every other department. The netbook is light and tough enough to lob in your bag and take it around all day, the screen is big and bright enough for everyda...
Abstract: With the Asus Eee PC 901, Asus improves its 8.9" netbook 900. A faster chip set graphic, the sparing Intel Atom CPU, WLAN in Draft-n Standard, Bluetooth 2.0 and a refined design are the most important denouements. Especially the sparing Intel Atom N270...
The original Eee PC was an intriguing device because it was just a step above a Blackberry, a basic web client device for about $400. The Eee PC 901, meanwhile, is something else: With Windows XP installed, its a strikingly complete little laptop PC. ...
Small and light, Reasonably well built and durable, Flashbased storage, Intel Atom processor surprisingly capable, Surprisingly acceptable battery life
Impressive, but ASUS already has several superior Eee PC models on the market, 12GB of storage isnt a single drive (one 4GB drive and one 8GB drive), White plastics feel nice but "look" cheap, Keyboard too small/cramped, Temperatures a...

Excellent battery life; spiffy performance; multitouch touchpad; solid state storage; Draft-N wireless radio and Bluetooth; built-in CPU overclocking/underclocking application.
Keyboard still hard to use; a little more hefty than the Eee PC 900; glossy finish attracts fingerprints.
With an excellent battery life and spiffy performance, the Eee PC 901 has matured into an exceptional Netbook capable of all-day computing.
