The editors liked

  • Plenty of modes to fool around with
  • Achievements to unlock
  • And butterysmooth gameplay
  • Classic gemmatching fun
  • Most of the new modes are excellent
  • Bright visuals and sound effects
  • Quest mode provides a nice sense of progression.
  • Improves and expands upon the game fifty million players know and love. Gorgeous in high-res. New soundtrack. Objective-based modes. Addictive.

The editors didn't like

  • Not all of those new modes are well thought out
  • Zen mode smells like bunk
  • A high price for a safe sequel
  • No online leaderboards
  • Zen mode doesn't satisfy.
  • Steep requirements for a casual game. Addictive.
