Review of Tacens Trio notebook cooler

Summary: Tacens sent us a really compact notebook cooler this time. After having reviewed the Tacens Fero I was eager to test something more portable, which could fit in my notebook bag. This first attempt at a portable notebook cooler by Tacens, does however leave me wanting more.

Tacens is a young company, they started their business in 2005, but they have grown quickly and taken their place in the computer accessory market. Some of their new products this season are their notebook coolers; Fero, Trio and Fero Light. Three different approaches to the same problem; high heat emitting laptops.

Summary: The Nexus TDD-9000 is a bold and innovative product that promises great advantages compared to traditional coolers for portable computers.

We’ve tested many cooling systems for laptops. In general, they all depend on active cooling from fans. Although they’re generally quiet, they also consume a large amount of electricity. Nexus has given us a very innovative cooler for portables. We’re sure it will impress you as much as it impressed us.

Review of the Tacens Visio Heatsink

Summary: Tacens has entered the market for graphic card heatsinks in the best possible way. Its Visio is a solution with excellent compatibility and very good performance, all at a very reasonable price.

Tacens is an old friend of ours. We’ve seen many products from this manufacturer: power supplies, cases, and panels. But up to now, we haven’t had the chance to examine any of its heatsinks. In general, they are highly regarded, especially for their silent operation.

Review of Sunbeam Core-Contact Freezer

SunBeam is a Chinese company that specializes in making accessories that make computers look better and that improve their cooling systems. It has experienced incredible growth in its cooling business. One example of this is its Core-Contact Freezer.

One would think that an add-on heatsink for PC processors that promises to do an incomparable cooling  job and is made by one of the main producers of modding accessories might be more like a fashionable accessory than a product for achieving better performance. But we’ll see later that this isn’t true of Sunbeam and its mepowerful Core-Contact Freezer.
